Thousands of Stafford’s children are imperiled by the Kraken Loop project. The Kraken Loop Project’s lines are planned to pass directly over the playing fields at Mountain View High School, Rodney Thompson Middle School, and Margaret Brent Elementary School in Stafford County.

Dominion’s mockup of what the lines will look like is based on a photograph taken from as far away from affected areas as possible:

What Dominion didn’t show is that the first set of proposed lines is just 1300 feet from the cafeteria at MVHS.

It also doesn’t show that the first of the Kraken’s lines will be a mere 150 feet from students as they run on the MVHS track:

See how the power line is offset in the right of way? When Dominion chooses to add in a second power line, it will be even closer to students as they run.
Kraken emits EMF that are associated with increases in childhood leukemia.

The Kraken is noisy.
The Kraken will emit a loud, constant buzz that will distract and upset children with audio sensitivities and may even violate Stafford’s noise ordinances. When there are two lines in the right of way, the racket will be even louder.
