Dominion Energy is at it again — attempting to minimize the impact of the Kraken Loop project by posting deceptive images.
This is Dominion’s rendition of the Kraken Loop project at Autumn Ridge. As usual, it does not show the 120 foot clearcut path through the trees or indicate where a future, second power line will extend. More disturbing, this is not an image of Autumn Ridge park — the photographer has deliberately walked away from the field where children will be playing, turned their back to the park, and instead took a photograph of the parking lot and road:

Here’s what the real effect on Autumn Ridge park will be:

The Kraken will pass directly over the baseball field at Autumn Ridge park, right over home base.
Why does it matter if one (or more) 500kV power lines pass over Autumn Ridge park where children are playing?
The Kraken will emit EMF frequencies, which are associated with an increase in childhood leukemia rates. Every child who plays baseball or walks a dog will be exposes to these frequencies.
In addition, the Kraken will emit a loud, constant buzz that will distract and upset children with audio sensitivities and may violate Stafford’s noise ordinances. Click play on the video below to hear what similar 500kV lines’ buzz sounds like:
